New Features and Enhancements

Configuration Portal Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for the Configuration Portal as part of Sprint 22.

   SlideRoom Portfolio Submission Configurable

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs that use SlideRoom.

You can now configure if or when applicants are required to submit their SlideRoom portfolio in relation to the CAS application. The portfolio can be set to:

  • Required before an applicant can submit their CAS application.
  • Required, but an applicant can submit the portfolio before or after they submit their CAS application.
  • Optional, where an applicant can choose to submit or not submit the portfolio regardless of when they submit their CAS application.

Each configuration option requires a SlideRoom Organization Code. The SlideRoom Program Code is optional for the last two configurations.

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 22.

   Email Addresses Template Update

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs.

When adding a new email address via the Email Addresses feature in the Management panel, you're now required to enter a correctly formatted email address (e.g., sample@sample.edu or sample@sample.com).

   List Manager Field Name Update

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs.

When selecting a field that has a long name, the text is now shortened, and you can hover over the field to view the full name. Previously, the interface would wrap the text.

   Export Manager Column Headings Configurable

Note that this enhancement is a configurable, optional feature available to all CASs for the next cycle launch. Please see your Account Manager for more information.

You can now customize the column headings in Export Manager templates. When selecting fields, the default column headings display in gray. If you manually change them, the new column headings display in black. Note that:

  • You can enter up to a maximum of 255 characters for your new column heading.
  • You can’t use the same column heading for different fields in an export template.
  • If you select a “many” field, WebAdMIT automatically appends “_0, _1, etc.” to the end of your column heading, as needed.
  • If you carry forward an export template that has custom column headings through the Transfer Settings feature, the custom column headings will also carry forward.

To view all default column headings, click Support Resources under the Usage Help panel and download the Custom Export Field Layout file. The field names default to the data in the Identifier column.
