WebAdMIT Enhancements

Transfer Settings Panel Updates

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

The Transfer Settings feature allows you to transfer templates you built in WebAdMIT from a previous cycle to a current cycle. With this enhancement, the option to dismiss the panel permanently was removed. This ensures that no one accidentally dismisses the panel, as dismissing it removed the panel from all users at the organization, including the users who manage this process at their organization. Additionally, the Transfer Settings panel has an updated message with clearer directions on what the feature is, how to use it, and a link to the Transfer Settings Guide.

Sandbox Environment Refresh	January 10, 2022	The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) was refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox were overwritten.
WebAdMIT Webinar Series	Various	Liaison Academy offers WebAdMIT training webinars. Each one-hour webinar focuses on a specific WebAdMIT feature and offers best practices, tips, and tricks for working with that feature. Intro to WebAdMIT: Unlocking the Tools to Manage Your Applications	January 25 – February 3, 2022	Register now for our Intro to WebAdMIT virtual training course. Participants who are new to WebAdMIT, or are looking for a basic refresher of the software, will learn the core functionality of WebAdMIT and how to use features together maximizing efficiency with the software. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to earn 0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Visit Liaison Academy to learn more about this class.

Using CAS & WebAdMIT as a Marketing Tool	February 8 – 17, 2022	Register now for our Using CAS & WebAdMIT as a Marketing Tool virtual training course. Participants will learn to use CAS and WebAdMIT as a recruitment and marketing communication tool. They'll learn about branding best practices as well as the features in the Configuration Portal and WebAdMIT to help with market research, identifying target audiences, and creating customized communication workflows. Reviewing & Scoring Applicants	March 1 – 10, 2022	Register now for our Reviewing & Scoring Applicants virtual training course. Participants will learn how to make the best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Shared Lookup Table Updates for Spring 2022	March 6, 2022	Many fields in the Applicant Portal contain predefined answer values that applicants can select; for example, the Country and County fields both have predefined answer values. These values are housed in shared "lookup tables" which are viewable in your CAS's/UniCAS's Custom Export Layout (CEL) file (located under Help in WebAdMIT). Lookup table change requests should be sent to your Account Manager, who will compile and review these requests prior to inclusion in the next lookup table update taking place this spring. The deadline to submit change requests is January 14, 2022. New lookup table values will appear in the Applicant Portal on March 6, 2022. Developing a Comprehensive Reporting Strategy	March 22 – 31, 2022	Register now for our Developing a Comprehensive Reporting Strategy virtual training course that intertwines reporting strategies with WebAdMIT functionality. Participants will explore practical approaches in creating a data reporting strategy that supports their organization’s goals. This strategy includes using data available in WebAdMIT.
