The following enhancements are now available in the CAS Configuration Portal. If you have any questions about these features, contact a member of your account team or support.
Disclaimer: on rare occasions, a new feature or enhancement may be moved to a future release or otherwise subject to change.

Association users can now download program attribute data for all organizations and programs within a CAS and cycle from the CAS Configuration Portal. This allows association users to have a bird's eye view of all their participating programs' information and be able to review and filter data quickly and easily within a spreadsheet.
Note that this report only includes program attribute data (e.g., program name, deadline, fees, etc.). It does not include any program configurations for questions, documents, college transcripts, prerequisites, recommendations, etc.
To access this report, click the edit icon next to the cycle years, then click the Export button on the Organizations & Programs page.
The following enhancements are now available in WebAdMIT. If you have any questions about these features, contact a member of your account team or support.

The Transfer Settings feature allows programs to carry forward templates they built in WebAdMIT from the previous cycle into the new cycle. Only Institution Managers who are in the WebAdMIT Administrators Work Group can initiate the Transfer Settings feature, and previously, they became the owner for all lists, exports, reports, PDF Manager templates, and email templates.
With this enhancement, the original owner/creator of the template will remain the owner after the Transfer Settings feature is run. This allows those template creators to have continual editing and management access across cycles. The Settings Transfer report has also been updated to reflect this new behavior.
Note that if the original owner does not exist or is not active in the new cycle, the user who runs the Transfer Settings feature will become the owner in the new cycle.

You now have the option to activate multi-factor authentication (MFA) using any standard two-factor authentication (2FA) app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc.). You can activate it by clicking Account in the top right corner, then clicking Enable MFA.
If you activate it, you'll follow the standard MFA process, including verifying your account with a six-digit code. This enhancement provides you with an alternate way to securely manage your WebAdMIT account.

WebAdMIT will have a planned migration of IP addresses for the production (i.e., live) environment. This migration is scheduled for Sunday, January 12, 2025 and WebAdMIT will be unavailable during this migration.
If you safe-listed the entire range of IP addresses (available on the Technical Requirements page), you do not need to make any changes.
If you safe-listed a smaller set of IP addresses, you will want to notify your IT department and either safe-list the entire range or the new smaller set. You can contact a member of your account team for the smaller set of IP addresses.
Note that the IP address changes impact inbound traffic only (e.g., sending data into WebAdMIT using the WebAdMIT API); IP addresses for outbound traffic are not affected.
Please review the list of new reference guides, all accessible in the WebAdMIT Help Center.

Shared Lookup Table Updates for Spring 2025 |
March 2025 |
Many fields in the Applicant Portal contain predefined answer values that applicants can select; for example, the Country and County fields both have predefined answer values. These values are housed in shared "lookup tables" which are viewable in your CAS's/UniCAS's data dictionary file. Lookup table change requests can be sent to a member of your account team, who will compile and review these requests. New lookup table values will appear in the CAS Applicant Portal in March 2025 (subject to change). Visit the Shared Lookup Table Updates page for more information. |
