Manage Your Students and Cohorts

Overview

In the Students tab, you can add students and create cohorts for each graduation year.

As a best practice, first add your cohort data, as you can quickly identify your students in the cohort. You can later edit your student data and add more information.

Managing Cohorts

You can view cohorts for each graduation year. Additionally, you can:

Creating a Cohort

  1. Under the Cohorts subtab, click Create a new Cohort.
  2. Complete all required fields. Note that the Enrollment Year drop-down is for when the cohort is expected to begin coursework at your program and the On-Time Grad Year drop-down pertains to when you expect the cohort to graduate from your program.
  3. Enter your students' names and university IDs. Be sure to use the student's legal name, as it is reported at your institution's Registrar's Office. Click Add Row to add more students.
  4. Click Create this cohort.

Editing a Cohort

If you need to make changes to an existing cohort, follow these steps:

  1. Under the Cohorts subtab, click the ID under the Cohort ID column.
  2. Make any changes to the cohort.
  3. Click Save these changes.

Deleting a Cohort

  1. Under the Cohorts subtab, click the ID under the Cohort ID column.
  2. Click Delete this cohort.

Managing Students

You can view students across cohorts. Additionally, you can:

Adding a Student

  1. Under the Students subtab, click Create a new Student.
  2. Go to the bottom of the page and complete all required fields. Be sure to use the student's legal name, as it is reported at your institution's Registrar's Office.
  3. Click Save Student.

Editing a Student

  1. Under the Students subtab, click the student's name under the Name column.
  2. Make any changes to this student's profile.
  3. Click Save Student.

Deleting a Student

  1. Under the Students subtab, click the student's name under the Name column.
  2. Click Delete This Student.

Board of Certification (BOC) Data

In the following subtabs, you can manage your students' Board of Certification (BOC) information.
