New Features and Enhancements
CAS Application Enhancements
Liaison’s suite of portals work together to help you collect and manage applications. The CAS application, also referred to as the CAS Applicant Portal, is the system where applicants find and apply to your programs. You receive these applications in WebAdMIT or Liaison Outcomes, where you perform your review processes. The appearance of your program and your requirements are customized in the CAS Configuration Portal, where you establish the program-specific elements that your applicants will interact with. Additionally, your program may use one or more of the following tools and platforms:
- API: a data integration tool.
- CAS Analytics by Liaison and Othot: advanced analytics solutions and data reporting tools.
- CAS Applicant Gateway: a platform for applicants who have already submitted their CAS application to complete and upload additional materials requested by their programs.
- CAS Liaison Letters: a platform for evaluators to submit their letters of recommendation.
- Enrollment Marketing and TargetX: customer relationship management (CRM) systems for student lifecycle management.
- Living Profile: a platform where students can connect their academic pursuits with their career aspirations.
- SlideRoom: a platform for collecting digital portfolios.
- Time2Track: a platform for tracking, verifying, and managing experiences.
Analytics by Liaison Link in WebAdMIT
This enhancement will be automatically available for use by all CAS association users over the next few days. No action is required on the part of any association. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
WebAdMIT’s Reports & Exports panel now includes a link to Analytics by Liaison for association users. The link brings you to the Analytics login page, where you can sign in to your account.
Show or Hide Required Documents in Supporting Information Section
This enhancement was made available to select CASs in this release. In December's Releases 10 & 11, this enhancement was made available to all CASs.
This enhancement will be automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs in the next cycle. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
Some CASs want to require applicants to upload certain document types depending on their answers to Extended Profile questions. For example, if an applicant earned a medical degree at a foreign institution, they must upload a copy of their foreign transcript or credential evaluation. Additionally, CASs want applicants to upload these documents in the Supporting Information section so that the documents are available to every program the applicant applies to.
The Document type visibility feature now supports showing and hiding required documents. Previously, only optional documents could be configured this way.
Applicant Portal
CASs can choose which optional and required documents will appear or be hidden in the Supporting Information section based on an applicant’s response to Extended Profile questions.

Automated Applicant Emails During the CAS Application Process |
At routine moments in the application process, a CAS will automatically send emails to applicants. These emails guide applicants through the application process, ensuring that they are regularly communicated with and can access additional resources, including the Applicant Help Centers and customer service information. This document reviews the most common emails sent, so you can more fully understand the application process and plan any program communications you plan to send. |
Recommenders now have access to a Quick Start Guide, which guides them through navigating the Letters by Liaison portal and completing their recommendations for applicants. |
