Pixel Tracking Feature
Pixel Tracking Feature
Pixel tracking, or marketing pixels, refers to small pieces of code that are embedded into a website or email then used to track and collect data about a user's behavior, such as clicks, views, and conversions. This data can be used to optimize marketing campaigns, improve user experience, and personalize content. These pixels are placed on the Add Programs page where applicants click View Details and the program's homepage instructions in the Program Materials section.
This feature is available to to any CAS that would like it enabled and is optional to use by any school within the CAS.
See Pixel Tracking in the help center or the Pixel Training Guide.pdf for more information.
Rule to Use: This feature is not currently on globally, however, that will be the goal by the 2026-2027 cycle. This feature is similar to Q4 document or question configurations and if enabled, it is benign and schools may choose to configure it.
Association Level Pixel Tracking Code
We do offer the ability for associations to place pixels (or tags, or other code snippets) on their CAS at the CAS level. This cannot be done by the association, however. This is done through Liaison's centralized Google Tag Manager. The client delivery team can review the activation instructions for who to connect with for this to be done.
