What is Transfer Success Pathway (TSP)?

Definition

The Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) program allows students to enroll in an agreement with a California State University (CSU) and a particular major for later transfer. Using the CSU Transfer Planner Student Portal, students can find TSP-eligible programs at a CSU, enter an agreement, and continually track their progress toward a future transfer.

TSP Eligibility

Students are eligible for TSP if they:

Left or graduated high school during the current year.
Are a first-time freshman that either:
- Wasn't CSU eligible at the time of their high school graduation or
- Who didn't attend a CSU due to personal or financial reasons.
Have not completed college courses after graduating high school.

Timeline

Between August 1 and September 30 each year, students can search for and enroll in a TSP agreement with a TSP-eligible program in the CSU Transfer Planner Student Portal.
