Reviewing Transfer Success Pathway Students

This page applies to the CSU Transfer Planner University Portal. 

Overview

As students apply to your programs for the Transfer Success Pathway (TSP), you can review their enrollment requests in CSU Transfer Planner.

Accessing TSP Students

You can easily access TSP students from your Dashboard and view key information, including:

  • Their TSP status.
  • Expected transfer date at your university.
  • Programs they will transfer into.
  • Community colleges they are transferring from.

Reviewing a TSP Student

You can click on a Dashboard filter or navigate to the Contacts section to find your students. Simply click on their name to view their application and TSP status. See Navigating a Contact Record for more information.

Additionally, you can contact your TSP students to confirm their TSP acceptance and share your program's requirements. See Corresponding with Students for more information.

Managing TSP Students

You can update a student's TSP status on the Contact Record page. Students will receive an automatic email with their status update and any pertinent information.

  1. Navigate to the student's Contact Record page.
  2. Hover over the Request Status Override field and click the arrow icon.
  3. Review and acknowledge that you read the status override confirmation.
  4. Select the appropriate TSP status from the drop-down. Review the TSP Status Definitions below.
    • If you revoke a student, you must provide a comment. Click the plus sign in the Application Header, then click Leave Comment.
  5. Click Save.

TSP Status Definitions

Review the TSP statuses you can use to manage your student pool.

TSP Status

Definition

ENROLLED - Reviewed

You reviewed the student's TSP enrollment agreement and confirmed it is all set.

REVOKED - Not Eligible

The student is not eligible for a TSP enrollment. If you use this status, then the following actions occur in the CSU Transfer Planner Student Portal:

  • The student's existing TSP enrollment agreement will be removed (if applicable).
  • The student cannot enroll in any TSP agreement.
  • The TSP questionnaire will be removed.
  • The Enroll buttons on the My Programs page will be removed.

REVOKED - Enrollment Error

You released the student from a TSP enrollment agreement.

While the student's enrollment agreement with your program is not valid, they are still eligible to enter into another enrollment agreement.

Use this status for the following reasons:

  • Student indicated a spring entry term for admission and your campus doesn't offer spring admission. Advise the student to change to fall.

What happens next:

  • The student's existing TSP enrollment agreement will be removed.

If this occurs before September 30, the student can enter a new enrollment agreement after changing their entry term.

If this occurs after September 30, the campus must approve and follow deadline extension procedures.

REVOKED - Student Mistake

You released the student from a TSP enrollment agreement. The student made a mistake when selecting their program or university, and they are still eligible to enter in another enrollment agreement.

Use this status for the following reasons:

  • Student selected the wrong university.
  • Student selected the wrong program.

What happens next:

  • The student's existing TSP enrollment agreement will be removed.

If this occurs before September 30:

  • The student can enroll in another TSP agreement.
  • The TSP questionnaire remains.
  • The Enroll buttons on the My Programs page remain.

If this occurs after September 30, the student cannot enroll in another agreement.

REVOKED - Requested Release

You released the student from a TSP enrollment agreement. The student requested to be released from their current TSP enrollment agreement and they're still eligible to enter in another enrollment agreement.

Use this status for the following reasons:

  • Student is not interested in TSP anymore.
  • Student is choosing a different career path.
  • Student is pursuing a different transfer path.
  • Student is no longer planning to transfer.

What happens next:

  • The student's existing TSP enrollment agreement will be removed.

If this occurs before September 30:

  • The student can enroll in another TSP agreement.
  • The TSP questionnaire remains.
  • The Enroll buttons on the My Programs page remain.

If this occurs after September 30, the student cannot enroll in another agreement.
