First, go to CSU Transfer Planner. Then enter your email address and password. If you need to reset your password, use the Forgot Password? link.
- I forgot the email I used to create my account. What should I do?

Try logging in to CSU Transfer Planner with your two most recent email addresses. If that does not work, then contact customer service.
- I didn't receive an email to verify my account.

Check your spam and junk folders. If needed, click Resend Email to resend the verification email. See CSU Transfer Planner Technical Requirements to learn which email addresses to safe-list.
- I forgot my password. How do I log in?

Your password information is not accessible by customer service. To reset your password, use the Forgot Password? link on the login page. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Send Email. You'll receive an email prompting you to reset your login information.
- I want to change my password. How do I do that?

Click the person icon in the lower-left of CSU Transfer Planner and select My Account. Then go to Privacy & Security, where you can change your password.
- I linked my CAS ID to my CSU Transfer Planner account, but I don't see my CAS ID listed anywhere. How can I confirm it was linked?

First, go to the university's site to confirm that they offer a program. If they do and you can't find it in CSU Transfer Planner, contact customer service.
- Do I need to send transcripts?

No, you do not need to send transcripts to CSU Transfer Planner. If your program requires transcripts, contact them directly to learn how to send them.
- How do I enter my coursework?

Following a program will help you track your progress, receive communications, and view articular agreements.

Saving a program allows you to quickly find that program if you decide to follow it later.

- Why don't my Transfer Progress bar and General Education credits match each other?

The Transfer Progress bar only reflects completed coursework, whereas the General Education section reflects all coursework (i.e., in progress, completed, and planned).

- How do I know if I'm eligible for TSP?

During the TSP enrollment period, you can complete a questionnaire to determine your TSP eligibility.
- Do I need to be a California resident to be eligible for TSP?

No. To enroll in a TSP, you must attend a California Community College. However, you do not need to be a California resident.
- I don't know how to answer parts of the TSP questionnaire. What should I do?

Contact your school counselor for guidance.
- I need to change my answers on the TSP questionnaire. How do I do that?

If you haven't enrolled in a TSP agreement, then you can edit your answers in the TSP questionnaire.
If you have already enrolled in a TSP agreement, then you cannot make any changes.
- What is the due date to enroll in a TSP?

You can enroll in a TSP agreement between August 1 and September 30. You must enroll in a TSP agreement by September 30 at 11:59 PM PT.
- I want to enroll in more than one TSP.

You can enroll in only one TSP.
- I'm not planning to enroll in a transfer program within three years. Can I still use CSU Transfer Planner or enroll in a TSP?

You can use CSU Transfer Planner to track the programs you're interested in. However, a TSP enrollment agreement will not be active and you will not be guaranteed admission.
- I made a mistake on my TSP enrollment. How can I make corrections?

From the dashboard, click the View Full Details button in the Transfer Success Pathway Status tip. Then, click Request Release from TSP button. Your program will review your request and reach out to you via email with their decision.
- I submitted my TSP for the wrong program. What do I do?

If you're enrolling in TSP for 2024: you can request to be released from a TSP. From the dashboard, click the View Full Details button in the Transfer Success Pathway Status tip. Then, click Request Release from TSP button.
Your program will review your request and reach out to you via email with their decision. If granted and you're still within the TSP enrollment period (i.e., August 1 and September 30), you can enroll with a different program.
If you enrolled in TSP in 2023: contact your campus.
- I'm enrolled in a TSP and want to switch programs. I already requested a release agreement, but it's been a few days and I haven't been released yet. What do I do?

Programs review release requests within 3-5 business days. If it's been longer than 5 business days, contact your program directly. Do not create a new CSU Transfer Planner account.
- How do I update my intended transfer term?

Navigate to More About Me, then under My Additional Details, update the Enrollment Status section.
- Once I submit my TSP enrollment, how and when will I get more information?

Your TSP program will contact you directly via email with any information and next steps.
- I'm no longer eligible for my TSP enrollment agreement. How can I enroll in a new TSP agreement?

You can request to be released from a TSP. From the dashboard, click the View Full Details button in the Transfer Success Pathway Status tip. Then, click Request Release from TSP button.
Complete the TSP questionnaire again. If you're eligible, you can enroll in a different program.
- If I enroll in a TSP, can I still apply to other CSUs?

The TSP agreement is not binding. If you want to, you can apply to other CSUs outside of CSU Transfer Planner; however, you do not have guaranteed admission to other universities.
