You must contact ACT to have your official ACT scores released to Cal State Apply. Once you do, ACT electronically sends your scores directly to Cal State Apply. Paper copies are not accepted.
To submit your official ACT scores to Cal State Apply, refer to https://www.act.org/ and request your scores be sent to the campus-specific code(s). You must also self-report your ACT scores in the Standardized Tests section of the application and include your test date and ACT ID#. It takes approximately 10-12 business days from the date you make the request to post to your application.
Make sure that the name, date of birth, and ACT ID# on your application match that on your ACT exam; otherwise, your scores will not automatically post to your account. If you believe there may be a discrepancy, wait until ACT processes the scores, then contact customer service so they can manually connect the scores to your application.
Official ACT scores can be received by Cal State Apply at any point during the application cycle, even after your application is submitted; however, some programs may have a deadline by which they want your scores posted. Check with your programs to ensure you meet all deadline requirements. Once your Official ACT scores are attached to your application, they cannot be removed.
Scores sent to any campus within the California State University will be available to any campus you apply to.
