Official ACT Scores

You must submit your official ACT scores electronically. Paper copies are not accepted.

To submit your official ACT scores, refer to https://www.act.org/ and request your scores be sent to any of the CSU campuses listed below. Scores sent to any campus within the California State University (CSU) system will be available to all campuses you apply to. It takes approximately 10-12 business days from the date you make the request to post to your application.

You must also self-report your ACT scores in the Standardized Tests section of the application and include your test date and ACT ID number.

Make sure that the name, date of birth, and ACT ID number on your application match that on your ACT exam; otherwise, your scores will not automatically post to your account. If you believe there may be a discrepancy, wait until ACT processes the scores, then contact Applicant Support so they can manually connect the scores to your application.

Official ACT scores can be received by Cal State Apply at any point during the application cycle; however, some campuses may have a deadline by which they want your scores posted. Check with your campuses to ensure you meet all deadline requirements. Once your official ACT scores are attached to your application, they cannot be removed.
