Go Live

Once the integration has been finalized, it is time to go live.

  • If your subscriptions from CAS prelaunch sent data to Slate Test, then you can keep them enabled, and you can use them for testing in future cycles. If your subscriptions were directed to Slate production, they should be deleted.
  • Create subscriptions for CAS production. If your prelaunch subscriptions were sending data to Slate Test, make sure to remove all /test/ references in the directory paths.
  • If the CAS application is already live, execute replays for each subscription to send the existing data to Slate. For more information on how to do a replay, see the Replays section of our Postman documentation.
  • In Slate production, go to the SFTP Explorer in Database and verify the files were delivered. Slate automatically processes the files, which should happen within 30 minutes. To immediately process the files, select Force Process Pickup in Database, and Slate will link the file with the Source Format. If the files are not added to the Source Format, make sure you have the correct Import Path/Mask in the Source Format. Force Process Pickup will not automatically add documents to the Documents Source Format. See the Slate Knowledge Base for more information about document processing.
  • Activate all configured Source Formats (Applications, In Progress Applications, Coursework, SSN, Document). In doing so:
    • (Optional) Update the Remap As Of Date to the current date.
    • Verify the Import Path/Mask doesn’t have the /test/ subfolder.
    • If an SSN Source Format is being used, update the Import Remote Server URL to CAS production and the user identity ID. See the Delivering SSN documentation.
    • Change the Remap Status to Active. For more information, also see the Slate Knowledge Base.
  • If files were replayed, verify a successful import, which should happen automatically within 30 minutes. To immediately import the files, select Force Process Import in Database. Note that Force Process Import will not automatically import documents. See the Slate Knowledge Base for more information about document processing.
