Testing Your Documents

Documents will not be imported into the Slate test environment and may be tested in Slate production.

To test using prelaunch documents, run document subscriptions from CAS prelaunch to Slate production. Review the Creating Data and Document Subscriptions documentation. Make sure the directory is /incoming/liaison/. Documents will not be processed by Slate if sent to a subfolder. Then:

  1. Create a test record with all documents.
  2. Verify the documents were delivered to the SFTP Explorer. There will be one PDF file per document per applicant.
  3. If your subscription from prelaunch to Slate production included a data event, verify the data file was delivered to the SFTP Explorer. If your data files are only being delivered to Slate Test, identify the applicant(s), download the data file from Slate Test, and manually upload the data file to the All CAS by Liaison - Applications Source Format in Slate production.
  4. Activate the relevant All CAS by Liaison - Applications and the All CAS by Liaison - Documents source formats with a Remap As Of Date of today or earlier so that only the test record(s) data file and documents are processed. Both source formats must remain active for the documents to import.
  1. Wait for the documents to process. Documents will only process during the Slate document processing window, hourly between 2:30 and 10:30 AM ET. If testing outside this window, you must wait until the following morning.
  2. Once processed, the documents will move to the /incoming/processed/liaison/ folder in the SFTP Explorer. It may take up to an hour after documents are processed to be imported to the Slate record.
  3. Check test record(s) in Slate to verify the documents were mapped correctly.

Person-scoped documents will be attached to the Folio, while application-scoped documents will be attached to the application.
