New Features and Enhancements
CAS Application Enhancements
Liaison’s suite of portals work together to help you collect and manage applications. The CAS application, also referred to as the Applicant Portal, is the system where applicants find and apply to your programs. You receive these applications in WebAdMIT or Liaison Outcomes, where you perform your review processes. The appearance of your program and your requirements are customized in the Configuration Portal, where you establish the program-specific elements that your applicants will interact with. Additionally, your program may use one or more of the following tools and platforms:
- Analytics by Liaison and Othot: advanced analytics solutions and data reporting tools.
- API: a data integration tool.
- Applicant Gateway: a platform for applicants who have already submitted their CAS application to complete and upload additional materials requested by their programs.
- Enrollment Marketing and TargetX: customer relationship management (CRM) systems for student lifecycle management.
- Letters by Liaison: a platform for evaluators to submit their letters of recommendation.
- SlideRoom: a platform for collecting digital portfolios.
- Time2Track: a platform for tracking, verifying, and managing experiences.
IELTS Official Test Score Integration
This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.
Applicants can now submit their official IELTS test scores to a CAS. This allows applicants to more easily track if their official test scores were received by the CAS and for you to manage more components of an applicant’s application in WebAdMIT.
Applicant Portal
If an applicant selects that they completed an IELTS exam under the Standardized Tests section, a new TRF Number field appears for them to complete. To send their official IELTS scores to a CAS, applicants must use a predetermined IELTS code. They can view received test scores under the Check Status tab in the application.
CAS API
The official IELTS test scores are now imported. The GET Application API will include various properties for official IELTS test scores. Additionally, the trfNumber property will be added to the applicant-reported IELTS test scores.
For more information, visit the CAS API technical reference page.
WebAdMIT
You can view official IELTS test scores under the IELTS subpanel of the Standardized Tests panel on the Applicant Details page. They are also available in the List Manager, Export Manager, and Scoring.
ATDH Applicant-Reported and Official Test Score Integration
This enhancement must be approved by ADEA DHCAS for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association client: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

CAS API Enhancements
The following enhancements are now available in the CAS API. All enhancements are automatically available to all CASs and participating programs using the CAS API. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. If you have any questions about these features, contact your Account Manager or support.
Re-enable Disabled Subscriptions via Endpoint
A new endpoint allows CAS API subscription users to re-enable a disabled subscription. Subscriptions are automatically disabled if the destination is unavailable after all retry requests are exhausted.
For more information, visit the CAS API technical reference page.
New Behavior for Organization Created and Updated Events
With this enhancement, the:
- organization.created event is triggered only when an organization is promoted to a new cycle.
- organization.updated event is triggered only if the organization record is updated and the organization is already associated with a cycle.
Separate GRE and GRE Subject Nodes in GET Application Response
A new JSON node for GRE Subject scores was added to the GET Application response. Previously, both GRE General and GRE Subject scores were reported under a single node called GRE. Now, the existing GRE node only contains GRE General scores, and the new GRESubject node only contains GRE Subject scores.
For more information, visit the CAS API technical reference page.
State and Program Selection Options in GET Organization (detail) Response
The GET Organization (detail) response includes new US state and US state abbreviation fields and the existing program selection options.
