Create Informatica Tasks and Mappings

Customize the Informatica mappings, tasks, and flow to meet your needs. Review the Informatica article Create Dynamic Mapping Task in Cloud Data Integration.

Create any Custom Fields in both the sandbox and production versions of TargetX.

Support for Attachments

For the integration to support attachments larger than 5MB, Administrators must complete the following in Informatica:

Increase Informatica's Secure Agent memory

To increase Informatica's secure Agent's memory, follow the steps outlined in the article Increasing the Secure Agent memory.

Note: you need to restart your Secure Agent as part of this process. Ensure no other processes accessing the Secure Agent are running during the restart.

Increase Field Buffer Size to Handle Large Attachments

You must increase the precision on the base64 string that houses the PDF data for Informatica's Source and Target field mapping . The precision value must be increased to 17340032. Follow the steps outlined in Informatica's article HOW TO: Increase Field Buffer size to handle large attachments using File IO connector in IICS.

SFTP and Informatica Server

Files will be sent from WebAdMIT to the SFTP site, then must be transferred to the Informatica server. The task to move files from the SFTP site to the Informatica server should also include deleting the files from the SFTP site.

If you lack the IT resources to build the file transfer from the SFTP and the Informatica server and you are a TargetX Premier Services client, then you may open a Premier Services case to have a team member create the Informatica tasks to transfer files from the SFTP to the Informatica server and to clean up the files from the SFTP after file transfer.
