PhORCAS Applicant Responsibilities

PhORCAS applicants to Pharmacy Residency programs agree to abide by certain rules and requirements. PhORCAS applicants are expected to act professionally in all of their dealings with PhORCAS and the pharmacy online residency programs. Applicants are expected to properly follow instructions and meet deadlines. Responsibility, respect, good judgment, and cooperation are qualities valued by the PhORCAS profession; applicants are expected to demonstrate these qualities beginning with the application process.

Applicants using PhORCAS agree to:

  • Act with honesty and integrity throughout the admissions process
  • Be responsible and accountable for actions
  • Research the application deadline and special requirements for acceptance, (including supplemental requirements) for each program you are interested in submitting an application. This information can be found in the ASHP online directory or by contacting the program directly

  • Contact programs directly about interview decisions, admission requirements, curriculum, etc
  • Contact PhORCAS customer support staff about any PhORCAS issues or questions, such as missing transcripts, or failure to upload documents
