Post Match (The Scramble)
Overview
The Post Match (also known as "The Scramble") is the last phase of the PhORCAS application cycle. Post Match is available to applicants who did not match during Phase I, Phase II, or to new applicants who decide to apply.

Please note that each program determines its deadline date. Deadline dates are subject to change anytime during the application cycle.
Submitting During Post Match
Reapplying
If you are applying to the same programs you applied to during Phase I:
- Re-add the program on the Program Designations page.
- Attach all desired documents to each designation (including supplementals, CVs, personal statements, and references).
- Submit your application and payment for the designation. Payment is required even if you paid for the program during Phase I.
If you are applying to the same programs you applied to during Phase II, click the Consider for Post Match checkbox next to the program in the Submitted Programs section. Note that you cannot add or edit any materials you previously submitted for this program.
New Programs
If you are applying to a different program:
- Add the program on the Program Designations page.
- Attach all desired documents to each designation (including supplementals, CVs, personal statements, and references).
- Submit your application and Match fee payment.
