Frequently Asked Questions
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) maintain updated lists of frequently asked questions for your review. Additionally, note the following:
- Signaling for the OBGYN specialty is available only in ResidencyCAS.
- There is no change to how applicants or programs interact with the NRMP Match system, including Couples Match.
- Dual Applicants will apply to both:
- ResidencyCAS for OBGYN.
- ERAS for all other specialties.
- Unmatched candidates for the OBGYN specialty will use ResidencyCAS for SOAP, while unmatched candidates for other specialties will use ERAs for SOAP.
