Technical Alert: April Packages for Accessibility Compliance

We are aware that the Department of Justice’s Final Rule on ADA Title II, requiring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, goes into effect for many of our clients on April 24, 2026. To address these standards, we have developed updated packages for Base, Engage, Events, and Online Application. These updates support a wider range of assistive technologies and user needs and ensure our delivered products meet federal requirements.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the requirements and timeline for compliance for your organization, as they may differ based on type of institution and governing jurisdiction.

If you are leveraging custom CSS, these packages will not update your customized CSS – you will need to manually ensure that your customizations are in compliance as well.

If you are a Premier Services customer, the Premier team will make these updates for you and will be reaching out with additional information.
