Communication Planner FAQ
- Will existing campaigns built with Campaign Builder continue to run as scheduled?
- Current campaigns in Campaign Builder will keep running as scheduled, even as new ones are set up in the Communication Planner.
- Is it possible to migrate existing templates and campaigns from Campaign Builder to Communication Planner?
- Templates and campaigns cannot be directly transferred from Campaign Builder and must be reviewed and rebuilt in the Communication Planner. For tips on defining a transition plan, review the article Transitioning to the Communication Planner.
- Is there a plan to discontinue support for Campaign Builder? If so, how much time will we have to migrate?
- While Campaign Builder is expected to be phased out, both systems will continue to operate for now. This approach allows for a smooth and gradual transition. However, no specific timeline has been set for when support for Campaign Builder will end.
- Do I need to install new CName records or provide a new domain?
- The same domain and Cname records will be used for both the Campaign Builder and the Communication Planner.
- Do I need to submit a Support case to set up Email sending for my sandbox or just production?
- Any org that you want to use for email sending needs to be configured via a support case. However, we do not recommend enabling full sandboxes for email sending.
