Creating Events Custom Setting Visualforce Tab

While you can access the enhanced Events Custom Settings page by appending the URL in Salesforce, creating a custom tab is possible to provide easier access to the page. 

Note: Depending on your license, Salesforce may limit the number of tabs you may create. For this reason, the Events Custom Code tab was not included as part of the package. Non-profit licenses allow for "unlimited" tabs. Limitations for other license can be found here

To create a Visualforce tab:

  1. Navigate to Setup and search for Tabs
  2. Click New under Visualforce Tabs
  3. Select Events Settings from the Visualforce Page pick list
  4. Give the tab a LabelName and Style
  5. Click Next
  6. Determine which user profiles should have visibility to the tab
  7. Select which apps should have access to the tab
  8. Click Save to complete the process
