Customizing Event Emails
- Create your Email Template, as described in Creating an HTML Email.
- Save your Email in the Event Email Templates folder.
This will allow the templates to appear in the dropdown fields on your Event and be selected for Email Confirmation, Waitlist Notification, etc.
When creating Event emails, remember that you're limited in the merge fields you can use. You can use data from the Student and Organization Event objects in these email templates. However, you're not able to merge in data from the Contact Schedule Item, so keep that in mind as you work to build out your content.
Note: You can NOT use the Add Merge Field button for the Organization Event object, but you can build the merge field manually. The merge field format is:
{!object API name.field name}
