November 2024

Version 2411.1

  • (CL-2012) Time slots for another Contact's appointment do not appear as available. Previously, they were displayed as available when you attempted to schedule an appointment.
  • (CL-2210) Event forms display correctly when previewed in Firefox. Previously, Event forms would not appear.

  • (CL-2111) The Appointment Scheduler accurately filters Success Team members based on Reason or Custom filters. Previously, it displayed all values regardless of the applied filters.

  • (CL-1405) Organization Events can be set to private for internal org-wide sharing defaults. Previously, if Organization Events were set to private for internal org-wide sharing defaults, users encountered errors when creating appointments for another user. Please note: Setting Organization Events to private for internal org-wide sharing defaults prevents Community Users from viewing Event Poster and Thumbnail images.
  • (CL-2088) Sharing an event on X now features the updated logo. Previously, it displayed the old Twitter 'bird' logo.

Version 2406.1

  • PD-6564) You cannot click the Registration button on Events TX Forms more than once. Previously, if you clicked the Registration button twice while trying to sign up for an event using a TX Form, it displayed an error even though the registration continued normally.
  • (PD-6560) The School Picker displays correctly in Events TX Forms featuring repeatable sections. Previously, it displayed a longer picklist than usual.

Version 2405.8

  • (CL-1883) When long comments are entered into a Custom Question, a message now indicates that the answer must be 255 characters or fewer. Previously, if a comment exceeded 255 characters, users would receive an 'upsert failed' error without any guidance.
  • (CL-2112) In Events Settings, you cannot select Master for the School Picker Record Types setting. Previously, setting the School Picker Record Types to Master caused the School Picker to return no results on Events forms.
  • (CL-2113) Recaptcha has been returned to Event TX forms and can be completed by all mobile users. Previously, when reCAPTCHA on mobile displayed the ‘select the images that contain <item> mode,’ the images did not appear correctly.
  • (CL-2118) The Location question in the Appointment Scheduler shows the correct location based on the person URL parameter. Previously, it showed multiple locations based on availability for the selected reason.
  • (CL-2127) Custom questions for events that exceed the mobile screen's length will now wrap the text. Previously, long custom questions required horizontal scrolling.
  • (PD-6500) The Student-facing Events Site displays text, logos, and alignment accurately. Previously, there were various formatting issues, including enlarged text and misaligned elements.

  • (CL-2050) Appointment Scheduler availability is sorted properly. Previously, availability time slots were sorted incorrectly when they were from multiple appointment time ranges.
  • (CL-2089) Text formatting displays properly for Events More Information. Previously, when you included bolded text in More Information, it did not display properly.

  • (CL-2023) Users can select available dates and times for active users to schedule appointments. Previously, current and future dates did not display available times.
  • (CL-2034) The popup to update the Time Zone when scheduling Appointments displays the correct time zone. Previously, the wrong Time Zone was displayed.
  • (PD-6088) Canceled interview events won’t display in search results for Students. Previously, canceled interviews were displayed in search criteria and results.

November 2023

Version 2311.2

  • (CL-2024) Event registration completes without hanging or generating errors. Previously, registration for events would sometimes result in the system hanging and generating the error "attempt to de-reference a null object."
  • (CL-2046) Appointment Scheduler blocks availability for Holidays. Previously, Holidays were not blocking appointment availability.
  • (CL-2048) Appointment Scheduler displays availability for all days in a configured slot. Previously, availability for the last day in a slot was not displayed.
  • (CL-2049) Appointment Scheduler prevents users from scheduling appointments for ‘exceptions’ to availability. Previously, time slots that were part of an availability ‘exception’ were available to users.
  • Note: If you're utilizing Form Assembly for event registration, specifically for events with a Maximum Attendee limit and no Allowed Guests, there has been a recognized problem in earlier versions of Event Registration and Form Assembly forms, causing the registration page to become unresponsive. This issue has been addressed in the November '23 release. It is strongly advised to upgrade to this version to fix the problem and ensure smooth registration processes.

  • (CL-1978) Validation rules for event registration run without error. Previously, custom Validation Rules created on the Contact Schedule Item object would not run correctly and would display an error in the Console.

  • (CL-1877) Appointment Scheduler will remove availability for events marked as Busy or Out of Office, regardless of the Public checkbox value. Previously, appointment availability was removed anytime a Salesforce Event was created.

  • (CL-1856) Appointment confirmation emails will include the Virtual meeting link for the selected Staff member. Previously, confirmation emails used the Virtual meeting link for the user who created the appointment.
  • (CL-1889) Appointment Scheduler will search availability for multiple modalities. Previously, Staff members with multiple modalities were not displaying properly.
  • (PD-5542) Appointment Scheduler will show all available time slots for staff when a user selects all modality options for location. Previously, the system would only display available time slots for In-Person availability.

  • (CL-1802) Appointment Scheduler scheduling options were not working correctly when using URL parameters.
  • (CL-1830) The Staff profile option for the No Show Follow-up Email template contained a misspelling.
  • (CL-1841) When an Event had start and end dates that crossed Daylight Savings, End Dates were displayed incorrectly.

  • (CL-1489) Staff couldn’t see other staff members’ Salesforce Events in the Appointment Calendar.
  • (CL-1705) Users were unable to select a School in TX Forms.
  • (CL-1750) TX Forms was generating an error “There was a problem submitting your registration” message if a validation rule was met.
  • (CL-1782) Appointment Scheduler availability entered without Location or Meeting Link information was causing errors.

  • (CL-1519) Events Site Guest users were generating errors on the Account object in TargetX Logs.
  • (CL-1599) Users were unable to cancel appointments when a User’s calendar was syncing with Outlook.
  • (CL-1707) The Events Registration form was adding white space between the Form Assembly form and Guest information/custom questions.
  • (CL-1758) The Location field was not being updated properly in the Event Supplement record, causing Location to be blank in Emails.

  • (CL-1265) Recurring events in the America/Phoenix timezone were incorrect after daylight saving time
  • (CL-1267) When users expanded the Appointment Calendar to full screen, the New Availability button was hidden in Lightning.

  • (CL-1176) Cancelled appointments were still blocking time in the student-facing Appointment Scheduler.
  • (CL-1190) The event Email Reminder batch job was generating an error ‘Too many queueable jobs added to the queue’.
  • (CL-1191) The Event RSS feed json was not being scrubbed of "bad" characters, resulting in errors.

  • (PD-9) The Events School Filter Field Help Text was out of date and has been updated to: "Use TargetX_SRMb__school_level__c field as an example where your event registration form might filter schools of "Secondary", "Higher" and/or "Church". The updated text will only be shown in new package installs (i.e., NOT upgrades).
  • (CL-36) Changing the Date/Time on an Organization Event with Type of Online Chat generated an OrgEventTrigger Error.
  • (CL-1081) When a student was registered for an event with Named Guests, the guest count was not updated if staff cancelled a guest internally. This prevented additional students and guests from registering for an event with a Max Attendee count.
  • (PD-1866) When Accounts were attached to Events, the system was updating the Next Event field on the Account as a scheduled batch which caused the error 'Failed to process batch for class 'TargetX_Eventsb.UpdateAccountNextEventBatch'.

  • (CL-426) When an internal user canceled a Registrant for an Event, the system was not canceling any related guests. For more information, see the article Canceling guests when a registrant cancels.
  • (CL-788) Canceled Appointments from the Appointment Scheduler would not update the Salesforce Calendar.
  • (CL-1140) When a student/community user tried to sign up for an appointment, they received the error 'too many events (task) in the CRM'.

  • (CL-760) Events registration was being blocked due to duplicate item codes, i.e. "Duplicate Item Violation"
  • (CL-809) The Event Visualforce page Clone button was behaving differently than the standard SF Clone button.
  • (CL-956) Appointment Scheduler was not maintaining default settings when Staff created appointments.
  • (CL-1012) Users could not Edit or Clone events when there was a custom autonumber or geolocation field on the OrgEvent object.
  • (CL-1025) Delays in Appointment Scheduler record creation was causing duplicates to be created.
  • (CL-1030) The Event QR Check In was not searching all Merged Record Ids.
  • (CL-1035) Salesforce Platform users were unable to Clone org events.
  • (CL-1041) Users were unable to add a new event registrant from the Event Calendar after the July 20 Event upgrade.
  • (CL-1050) The Appointment Calendar was not displaying correctly in Safari.
  • (CL-1112) Users could not edit events when one or both the Copy to Salesforce Calendar boxes were checked.

  • (CL-843) Corrected numerous Accessibility issues:
    • In the Calendar view, days with events were coded as buttons
    • After registering for an event, the profile icon on the confirmation page didn't include an ALT attribute. 
  • (CL-844)  Corrected accessibility issues where My Appointments & Interviews pages didn’t include headings.
  • (CL-846) Event Rescheduled emails were being sent twice.
  • (CL-855) Corrected an issue with a hidden modal that included a form which wasn’t hidden from screen readers; causing issues with Accessibility.

  • (CL-196) Appointment Scheduler Repeating Events created in Lightning were not displaying properly  in the Salesforce calendar.
  • (CL-752) Events with 30 or more sub-events caused an error during Event Registration and caused no events to display on the Event Calendar.
  • (CL-787) Staff was not receiving Appointment Cancellation emails when students cancelled in updating employee availability correctly in Appointment Scheduler.
  • (CL-827) All day Outlook Events were not updating employee availability correctly in Appointment Scheduler.
  • (CL-830) Users were unable to save a new appointment in the TargetX Calendar if they had just created a new availability.
  • (CL-832) Multi-day Events were not updating employee availability correctly in Appointment Scheduler.
  • (CL-851) When users created an event in Outlook without a Subject, the Outlook sync caused no appointments to display for the week of the appointment in the Appointment Calendar.

  • (CL-483) The Description field in the Events Feed was not displaying correctly.
  • (CL-750) The Registration Deadline for Events was closing earlier than intended.
  • (CL-796) Events were intermittently not creating Contact Schedule Items.
  • (CL-804) The Organization calendar was not allowing registration from Event details in Classic.
  • (CL-821) Event Registration Cancellation emails were not sending when an Event included a Sub Event.
  • (CL-822) Events Access Keys were changing during Event registrations.
  • (CL-823) Canceling Events with more than 1,000 registrants was causing an APEX CPU timeout error.

  • (CL-20) Appointment Scheduler Users could not schedule new appointments, and the display of fields was not aligned.
  • (CL-37) Only Event Owners could edit an Event with Copy to SF Calendar.
  • (CL-39) The Event Email Wait List Promotion feature was not functioning for events.
  • (CL-44) The color picker for Organization Events was not working in Lightning.
  • (CL-193) Cloning an Event that included Sub Events was not working properly in Lightning
  • (CL-200) Appointment Scheduler was allowing students to register past availability.

  • (CL-228) The Organization Events Calendar was not displaying events when an Event Name included a backslash [\].
  • (CL-276) Waitlisted Events users were receiving emails that they were confirmed for an event that had passed.
  • (CL-321) Enabling Clickjack Protection prevented some users from opening the Organization Calendar in Lightning.
  • (CL-466) Appointment Scheduler permissions required Read access to Campaigns, which was impossible to configure.
  • (CL-545) When a sub-event reached Max Capacity, users could no longer see any sub-events but were still prompted to select one.
  • (CL-607) Appointment Scheduler only checked for open appointment times when a user searched, which resulted in users booking appointments in the same time slot.
  • (CL-731) The Access Key Checker tool was generating errors when a large number of email templates needed to be updated.
  • (CL-737) When Organization Events reached a maximum of 50,000 records, it caused users to be unable to create Events.
  • (CL-767) The Salesforce Spring 20 update enforced the sharing for the site guest user sharing, which resulted in Events 6 failing to load.

  • (CL-427) Events links that included a Contact ID did not have Access Key protection.
  • (CL-644) Staff that were using a locale with a Non-US date format would receive an error on the Appointment Calendar.
