TargetX Data Storage Overview
TargetX is powered by Salesforce, which means that TargetX is built upon the Salesforce platform similar to how an app is built upon a mobile phone. In regards to data storage used by the TargetX product suite, for most features and tools, Salesforce is the sole data store used, and as such, the physical location of the data stored is dependent upon the Salesforce region (North America, European Union, Asia Pacific, etc.) assigned to your Salesforce Org.
The following chart specifies the datastore for each TargetX tool, as well notes regarding data processing that may occur outside of the primary datastore.
