Technical Alert: QR codes in event confirmations
Resolution:
Our team has identified a solution for the Event QR Code Check In issue. We understand the criticality of a speedy check in process and the importance of events on campus during this time of year.
In order to address this issue, you will need to make an update to any email templates in your org that currently contain Event Check In QR Codes. The current URL will need to be updated as outlined in this document.
Premier Services clients can open a configuration case for assistance with making the required updates.

Issue:
We are currently experiencing an issue with QR codes in event confirmations. When attempting to generate a QR code for event check-in, a 404 error appears in place of the expected QR code, which prevents the code from being used for check-in, however a previously printed or saved image of the QR code will continue to work.
In order to check students in for an event, should your QR codes not generate, you will need to log into the Events interface and check students in manually. We are actively investigating this issue and will share an update as soon as one is available.
