Resolving Common Permission Scanner Errors
Generating a Permission Set resulted in error 'Apex CPU time limit exceeded'
The error 'Apex CPU time limit exceeded' can result when a Permission Scanner 'definition' is lengthy.
Follow these steps to work around the error:
- If the Permission Set has already been assigned, delete any assignments for that Permission Set.
- Delete the Permission Set.
- Generate the Permission Set again.
- Re-assign the Permission Set to any users who were previously assigned to the old Permission Set.
