Citizenship Details
Select your U.S. citizenship status and primary country of citizenship, if applicable. If you have dual citizenship, indicate your second country of citizenship. You are eligible to apply for membership through The Consortium if you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident with a permanent residency number, or a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applicant. If you submit your application without meeting this requirement, your application will not be released and your application fee will not be refunded.
When selecting your status, consider the following definitions which are adapted from the U.S. State Department site:
- U.S. Citizen: an individual who was born in the U.S. or attained citizenship through naturalization.
- Permanent U.S. Resident: an individual who holds a U.S. Green Card and is permitted to permanently live and work in the U.S. If you select this option, enter your Permanent Residency Number.
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA): an individual who has applied and been accepted to DACA.
Note: to ensure applicants are entering consistent data for some questions, this application uses pre-populated answer options that are maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). For example, country answer options are derived from ISO 3166, which is the international standard for country codes and codes for their subdivisions.
