New Features and Enhancements

Applicant Portal Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for the Applicant Portal as part of Release 10.

    Shared Lookup Table Updates

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

Many fields in the Applicant Portal contain predefined answer values that applicants can select; for example, the Country and County fields both have predefined answer values. The new lookup values are available for applicants to select from starting on October 20, 2019. You can review the Shared Lookup Table Updates document for a summary of all changes.

    Updated Calendar Picker

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

The calendar picker in the application has been updated to meet 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance standards. These updates include improved color contrast, field spacing, clearer field outlines, etc.

    Program Documents Reordered

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs that configure program-specific Documents and their participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

Documents under the Program Materials section are now ordered according to requirements. Required documents are grouped at the top of the Documents tab and then any optional documents grouped underneath. If programs place document types in a certain order, that order is adhered to within the required and optional groupings. Additionally, if programs enter instructions for each document type, those instructions are included with each document type listing.

Configuration Portal Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for the Configuration Portal as part of Release 10.

    Reorder Documents and Add Instructions

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs that configure program-specific Documents and their participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

You can now reorder document types by dragging and dropping and add document type-specific instructions. You can also clearly define the minimum number of documents required for each type.

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Release 10.

These values are housed in shared “lookup tables” which are viewable in your CAS’s/UniCAS’s Custom Export Layout (CEL) file, available here. Additionally, the Master College Code List has been updated with new colleges; you can download the updated file here. You can review the Shared Lookup Table Updates document for a summary of all changes.

Once the new lookup table values become available to applicants on October 20, 2019, they’re reflected in WebAdMIT in the applicant’s profile, within the application PDF, and in lists and exports. If your school imports these fields directly from our system to yours, these new options will begin appearing in your exports as applicants select them. If you created a “crosswalk” from WebAdMIT data to your local data in your SIS/CRM, you may need to update this crosswalk for the newly added options.
