    Word Count Display

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

    Program Designations Available

The GET Application now supports an additional expand parameter for program designations.

Letters by Liaison Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for Letters by Liaison, the Recommender Portal, as part of Release 3.

    Account Lockout Security

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

Recommenders are now locked out of their account if they fail to sign in after five attempts. Their account is locked for thirty minutes and they can only log in after resetting their password. They also receive an email, notifying them that their account has been locked.

Guest Access Recommenders Automatically Reuse Recommendations for Multiple Recommendation Requests

This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

Some CASs collect recommendations through the Program Materials section using specific recommendation types (e.g., academic, personal, etc.). Additionally, some CASs allow recommenders to complete recommendations without creating an account in the Recommendation Portal. If a CAS uses both these features, recommenders who do not create an account can automatically reuse a completed recommendation for an applicant who requests they complete additional recommendations that are the same type as the original. Once activated by the recommender, any time the same applicant requests the same recommendation type, the system will automatically complete the recommendation and submit it.

Recommenders will receive an email every Friday that records if the recommendation has been reused, and if so, for which programs. This feature can be turned off at any time by the recommender.

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for WebAdMIT as part of Release 3.

    Still Attending Field

This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the current cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the current cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

When applicants report their colleges attended, they can identify if they are still attending the institution. A corresponding Still Attending field has been added under the Colleges Attended field grouping in the List Manager and Export Manager. It is a one-to-many field and will populate for each college attended included in exports (e.g., College 1, Still Attending 1, College 2, Still Attending 2, etc.). This field is not available on the Applicant Details page nor in the full application PDF.

    Competing Offers Accepted Columns

This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the current cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the current cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

The Designation and Offers Accepted Count columns can be removed from the Competing Offers Accepted page. The Designation column can be removed if a CAS only has one program per organization, as this is extraneous information. The Offers Accepted Count column can be removed if a CAS chooses to not share this information with programs.

    Search Pages Filter Order

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

On the Search page, the applicant name filters are listed Last Name then First Name. The following pages have been updated to match this filter order:
