Activities

Used to track interactions with Contacts. Includes Calls, Emails, and Task Reminders.

Activity Timeline

Displays Tasks and Emails for All User Activities by Default

App

A collection of components, such as tabs, reports, dashboards, and pages that address a specific business need. Examples: Email, Events.

Checklist Items Individual records for a given application's requirements, with their completion status. 
Contact The Student record. Includes basic contact, biographic, and demographic information.

CRM

Customer Relationship Management: A system to manage data and information for building and cultivating relationships.

Object

A Database table such as Accounts, Contacts. Standard vs Custom objects.

Org Organization: an instance of the Salesforce platform that is unique to your institution.

Profile Builder (Source to Master)

Enables the set up of roll-up fields to mirror data stored on the Enrollment History object, Test Object, Inquiry Object and Application Object into roll-up fields on the Contact/Student Object.

For example, if the student has multiple applications, you can display the most recent application decision on the Contact object.

Record

 A single instance of an object. For example, John Smith's Contact record.

Roles and Contextual Scoping

Constituency Roles deliver a field, Role, on the Contact object that allows Sharing rules to be enforced to control record-level access and identify groups for communications.

Salesforce

An open platform on which TargetX is built.
