Resolving Common EDA Errors

Cause: The system cannot find your Data Mirroring Custom Setting.

Resolution:

1. Verify the mirroring settings are completed:
   • Navigate to Setup and search for Custom Settings.
   • Click Manage to the left of TargetX/HEDA Data Mirroring.
   • Click New.
   • Enter the Name as 'default.'
   • Configure the remaining options based on your business needs.
2. Verify that the NAME of the Custom Setting is 'default':

4. Click Manage to the left of TargetX/HEDA Data Mirroring.
5. Make sure that the Name of the setting is default with a LOWERCASE d.
6. If it does NOT have a LOWERCASE d, change the Name.

Error when uploading Transcripts: 

Error: Invalid Data. Review all error messages below to correct your data. This is typically due to the Account linked to the Enrollment History record being set to Administrative. EDA triggers are set up so that Administrative Accounts are meant to be assigned to Households or Students more than Institutions. Change the Account Record Type to Educational Institution, which should resolve the error and allow you to upload attachments.
