July 2024
Base Version 2407.11
- Forms with email fields include email validation to prevent invalid emails from being added to the system and improve contact matching. For details, see Creating TX Forms.
May 2024
Base Version 2405.18
- TX Forms includes an Application form type to allow for the creation of forms related to a student, their application, and any supporting objects of either. For more information, see Creating TX Forms.
- TX Forms incorporates repeatable sections, allowing a single section to display multiple times to gather multiple records and streamline the building of TX Forms. For more information, see Creating TX Forms.
Known Issues
The following issues have been identified in TX Forms in the May ’24 release:
- (PD-6557) When two different repeating sections on the same object contain the same field, TX Forms permits the addition of those duplicate fields, but saving the form is not possible.
- (PD-6558) When building TX Forms, if a field is deleted without being in focus, the system highlights the preceding question, and it cannot be unhighlighted, impeding further edits on that question until the form is saved and reopened.
- (PD-6559) When a student uses the reset button for a repeated section, the text area character count does not reset until the student begins typing in it again.
- (PD-6560) In Events TX Forms featuring repeatable sections, the School Picker displays a longer picklist than usual.
- (PD-6561) In certain rare situations which include repeatable sections with visibility conditions dependent on a Boolean field, the builder may crash when attempting to add another record.
- (PD-6562) In certain rare cases when creating a question in a non-repeatable section and not mapping a field, and then clicking into a repeatable section, the builder can crash and display a white screen.
- (PD-6563) When building TX Forms, when a picklist is assigned to a field on one object, and option groups are introduced based on a field from a different object as criteria, the criteria for the option groups will not appear until a question related to the first object is chosen.
- (PD-6564) If you click the Registration button twice while trying to sign up for an event using a TX Form, it displays an error, but the registration otherwise continues normally.
- (PD-6565) If a user encounters a Salesforce validation error while filling out a TX Form, they are required to refresh the page to submit the form.
November 2023
Base Version 2311.0
- You can select a value for Autocomplete fields when the ‘Answer list’ field is blank.
September 2023
Base Version 2309.3
- When creating records from a TX Form, you can select a Record Type so that data for different types of records is saved correctly. For more information, see Working with Record Types.
- The school picker functionality in TX Forms has been updated to Autocomplete questions so that the lookup field for any object can be used as a type-ahead selection question instead of only Account lookups. For more information, see Working with Autocomplete Fields.
June 2023
Base Version 2306.3
- The TargetX Logo in TX Forms redirects back to the TargetX Builder so you can easily navigate to the builder.
- Hidden fields can’t be used as conditions for visibility or option groups since users can’t interact with hidden fields.
May 2023
Base Version 2305.9
- TX Forms are updated to correct accessibility issues with the School Picker for text contrast, labels, and keyboard access.
- You can generate a form pre-fill URL that contains predetermined keys and values. This link can be shared with students, allowing designated fields to be automatically filled in for questions or hidden fields. For additional information, see Creating TX Forms.
March 2023
BASE VERSION 2304.1
- Users can limit the list of schools in a Form by selecting a School Filter Field. For additional information, see Adding a Question to Your TX Form.
- Users can change a TX Form Type. For additional information, see Changing a TX Form type.
- Users can add File Uploads to a TX Form. For additional information, see Adding a File Upload to your TX Form.
Known Issues
