Resolving the 'Broadcast not sent for' Task
The “Broadcast Not Sent For” message is created for a variety of reasons, such as:
- Too many recipients or too many criteria for dynamic content.
- The underlying report was deleted.
- The underlying report is missing the necessary ID columns.
- Invalid merge field.
- Merge field references an object that has no lookup to Contact or Lead.
- For those using the ‘Run as specified user’ setting: “You are receiving this email alert because your scheduled email broadcast was not sent. Your broadcast email configuration requires campaigns to be sent using the permissions of the campaign owner, and a temporary SalesForce connectivity issue is preventing TargetX from receiving the name of the campaign owner. Please reschedule your broadcast. If this is a new Email Campaign that has never had a successful broadcast, please contact your system administrator to ensure the necessary outbound message settings are configured.”

The abandoned broadcast will not be sent after you fix the report. Future broadcasts scheduled for this campaign, if any, will be sent if the report is fixed by their broadcast time. |
