Managing Advisors in Engage

Adding a new Advisor

  1. Navigate to the Advisor Center (ie., Engage tab)
  2. Click on the for the room where you want to add an Advisor.
  3. Click on the icon, then click the  icon.
  4. Click on the Room Settings icon ( ).
  5. In the Advisors section, click the  to move an Advisor from Available Advisors to Advisors in Room. In order for Advisors to display as available in Engage, they must be assigned to the TX Engage Advisor permission set. For details on assigning this permission set, see Configuring Advisors to use Engage.
  6. Update and click Back to return to the Advisor Center.

Notes: 

  • For a user to see the room, they MUST be added to the Advisors in Room list.
  • You can assign Advisors to multiple rooms. When an Advisor logs in, they will see any rooms to which they are assigned and can select which one they are ‘available’ in by clicking on the.

Directing Advisors to the login link

Advisors need to login to Salesforce and access the Engage tab. They will only see the rooms in which they are listed as ‘Advisors in Room’ via Room Settings.

  • If the Advisor is assigned to only one room, their Appointment Calendar will display.
  • If assigned to multiple rooms, any rooms in which they are listed as an ‘Advisor in Room’ will display. The Advisor should select the   for the room they wish to access.
