Configuring the required Custom permissions for Online Application Community Users

You must add Edit permission to any field referenced in your Application that the student is expected to populate, including:

  • any Contact fields, such as Address, Birth date, etc.
  • any Application fields, such as Program, Major, or Concentration.
  • For the Recommendation object, the student should only have Edit access to the fields they are expected to complete in the Recommendation request. For example, if you ask students to waive their rights, that field must have Edit access.
