Resolving Applicant Dashboard Common Errors

Resolution

Student can't log in to the Applicant Dashboard.

Check the following items if a user is having problems logging into the Applicant Dashboard:

  • Verify that the Contact record is associated to a Related User.
  • Verify that the Login link provided in the Community Welcome Email is correct.

  • Check the Login History for the user (Setup > Login History). The Status field may provide details on the problem.

Students can't see a form when changing a recommendation from Applicant Dashboard. If you've configured your Online Application Recommendation card with visibility conditions and the applicant no longer meets the specified criteria, the form may not display as expected.

To resolve this, you'll need to Validate/Update your Application or Resuable form to confirm whether the applicant still meets the criteria setup on the form.
Student logs in and only sees the page header and hero image. The application widget is missing.

Confirm the following fields are populated on all applications for the Contact:

  • Application Process (TargetX_App_Application_Process_c)
  • App Configuration (TargetX_App_App_Configuration_c)
