Implementing Profile Builder for Retention: Source to Master

Create the Retention Settings Tab

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Custom Setting.
2. Select New.
3. Enter a Label = Retention Settings
4. Select a Type = List
5. Set Visibility = Protected
6. Save.
7. Navigate to Setup and search for​ Tabs.
8. Navigate to the VisualForce Tabs section.
9. Select New.
10. Set Visualforce Page = Retention Settings [TgtX_Retention__Retention_Settings]
11. Enter a Label = Retention Settings
12. Select a Tab Style.
13. Select the appropriate Profiles on Add to Profiles.
14. Select the appropriate Custom Apps on Add to Custom Apps.
15. Save.

Enable Profile Builder Triggers for Retention

1. Complete the steps in Create the Retention Settings Tab.
2. Navigate to the Retention Settings tab.
3. Enable all/any of the desired triggers related to ‘Profile Builder’. Enabling a trigger for the specified object allows data from those records to be rolled up to the Contact record.
4. Save your changes.

Profile Builder Object Names for Retention:

• Academic Profile: TgtX_Retention__Academic_Profiles__r
• Success Team Member: TgtX_Retention__Advisors__r
• Advising: TgtX_Retention__Integrated_Advising__r
