Zoom Integration Overview

The following information has been compiled from our Zoom experiences with TargetX products as of 4/29/20. It outlines the setup of Salesforce from an administrative perspective and how to use this integration.


Through the Zoom Integration with TargetX you’ll be able to:

  • Initiate/Start 1:1 meetings with Students
  • Create/Load Zoom Webinar Meetings (If you have the appropriate subscription)

The integration is available through the Salesforce AppExchange and the Zoom Marketplace. The initial install and setup time is about an hour. This includes initial install, configuration of required layouts, and updates to your internal Salesforce User Profiles. Once the initial configuration is set up, individual setup is under 10 minutes.

The Zoom integration works in either Lightning or Classic, but the preferred method is Lightning.

What You Will Need

Zoom Requirements:

  • paid Pro, Business, Education, or API Partner Plan. For use of Webinars, you must have a Webinar subscription as part of your Zoom package.
  • Access to the REST API.
