Event Reporting

Overview

In EMP, you can quickly access event attendance data by reviewing the Events Dashboard. For a more granular look at event attendance, you can build a group for one or multiple events. In addition to accessing attendance data, you may want to track payments associated with the event. You can also access payment information through the Group Builder

Events Dashboard

The Events Dashboard offers a concise overview of your events, serving as a convenient tool to gauge event registration and post-event metrics.

From the top navigation bar, click Analytics and select Events Dashboard.

The Dashboard displays the last 25 events. Use the Filter List button to find specific events.

Building an Event Group

In the Group Builder, use the Events section to query students who registered or attended your event.

  1. Navigate to the Group Builder and add the required fields.
  2. At the Events section, complete the following:
    • Did or Didn't: select if you want to query students who did or did not do the selected action.
    • Action: select the action the student took.
      • Register: the student successfully registered for the event.
      • Unregister: the student registered, then canceled their registration prior to the event.
      • Attend: the student was checked in as attended.
    • Event: select the name of the event.
    • Date: select the date of the event. You can opt to leave this blank.
    • Time: select the time of the event. You can opt to leave this blank.

After you save the Group, you can export the list or manage the Group directly in EMP.

Form Payment Filter

You may want to track payments associated with an event or with a form you created, such as a housing deposit form. Using the Group Builder, you can find students who did or did not complete payment.

  1. Navigate to the Group Builder and add the required fields.
  2. At the Form Payments section, complete the following:
    1. Field: select the specific payment or form.
    2. Measure: select the operator (e.g., equals).
    3. Value: add the numeric value of the payment.
