Configuring Group Assignment Access

Managing and Creating Target Object Triggers and Running Migration

Users responsible for creating, updating, and managing Target Objects Triggers plus publishing and managing the Migration Process (migration of triggers and group assignments from sandbox to production) will need full access (Read and Edit) on all Group Assignment objects and fields, the TargetX Builder tab, as well as access to publish to CRM Objects on which assignments are made.

Custom Objects:

  • Assignment Group (v2)
  • Assignment Group Member (v2)
  • Expression

System Permissions:

  • Author Apex

Notes:

  • Users need access to Custom Setting Definitions:
    • TargetX_Base.Group Assignment Member Settings
    • TargetX_Base.Group Assignment Settings
    • TargetX_Base.Remote Connections
  • Depending on your profile permission UI, Author Apex will appear as a checkbox in System Permissions or as its own section on a larger comprehensive permissions page.

Managing or Creating Assignment Groups

Users responsible for creating, updating, and managing Assignment Groups will need full access (Read and Edit) on all Group Assignment objects and fields, the TargetX Builder tab, and access to publish to CRM Objects on which assignments are made. These User (s) must have a Role assigned to their User.


Read/Edit all fields for the following objects:

  • Assignment Group (v2)
  • Assignment Group Member (v2)
  • Expression

All Other Internal and External Users

All users of the CRM who access records on which ownership is being assigned require Read Only access to all Group Assignment objects and fields. They do not require access to the TargetX Builder.

Read ONLY on all fields for the following objects:

  • Assignment Group (v2)
  • Assignment Group Member (v2)
  • Expression
