March '23 Release Notes
This release includes enhancements for Email, Engage, Events, Online Application, Retention, and TX Forms, and defect fixes for Email, Portal, and Online Application. For details on the benefits of upgrading, see Why should I upgrade?
New Features and Enhancements
Base
VERSION 2304.1
- Group Assignment, Portal, and TargetX Builder were updated to meet accessibility standards.
VERSION 2303.0
- Email operators are now validated to ensure they are appropriate for the selected field type. For additional information, see Writing a condition set in Email.
- Advanced Conditional Logic is now supported within the Email Template Conditional Content builder.
Engage
VERSION 2303.1
- Engage now displays Notes in order of Create Date, with the most recent at the top.
Events
VERSION 2303.8
- Staff can now create Appointment Scheduler exceptions based on a specific modality. For more information, see How to Configure Availability for Appointments.
- Events was updated to meet accessibility standards.
Retention

- Retention Success Scores were updated to meet accessibility standards.
TX Forms
BASE VERSION 2304.1
- You can limit the list of schools in a Form by selecting a School Filter Field. See Adding a Question to your TX Form.
- You can change a TX Form Type. For additional information, see Changing a TX Form type.
- You can add File Uploads to a TX Form. For additional information, see Adding a File Upload to your TX Form.
Known Issues
- TX Forms File Uploads: if an object has only hidden and uploaded fields, a record will not be created. There must be at least one visible question answered on the record for the record to be created.

As part of our efforts to improve the functionality of our Query Builder tool for Email Template Conditional Content and Recipient Queries, we have addressed defects with the following field types and operators:

The list of available operators will be limited based on the object and field type selected for your condition to ensure that only supported operators are available. In addition, validations have been added for the incorrect formatting.
- (CL-308) The Advanced Expression option was not available for Email Template Condition Sets.
- (CL-557) Query Builder ignored formula field criteria that used the ‘Starts With’ operator.
- (CL-847) Operators that didn’t work were displayed.
- (CL-1066) A colon was displaying in front of merge fields when Previewing an email.
- (CL-1505) Users were unable to use Number fields in Condition Sets.
Engage
VERSION 2303.1
- (CL-1810) Users with Engage Advisor permissions were unable to edit Event records.
Online Application
VERSION 2303.3
- (CL-1822) Changing a recommender caused unexpected data changes.
- (CL-1866) Visibility Condition groups were not working properly.
Portal
BASE VERSION 2304.1
- (CL-1725) The menu option was hidden on Android devices.
- (CL-1808) The list of font colors was limited to 24 options.
