TargetX Enhancements
Administrative
- VPATs have been updated for the following TargetX products:
- TX Forms
- Engage
- Portal
- Events
Communication Planner
Version 2511.26
- You can view email or SMS content a Contact received from the Email Activity widget to quickly verify sent messages and ensure consistent, accurate communication.
- You can resend an email or SMS from the Contact’s record if it failed, bounced, or went to spam; this helps ensure successful delivery and consistent communication.
- You can view the recipient lists from your sent Quick Messages to better understand who received the message and who did not.
- If the count on the Recipient totals takes longer to load, a new alert message appears, urging the user to review the Recipient count totals on the associated report.
Engage
Version 2511.0
- Advisors can add multiple students to a single Engage session, allowing them to facilitate group sessions. For details, see Managing Engage Meetings.
Recruitment Manager
Version 2511.0
- The RateForAccount visualforce page is available for use in Lightning Page Builder's Visualforce component.
Retention
Version 2511.0
- A new field, Open Advising Items (TgtX_Retention__Open_Sub_Items__c), on the Advising record displays the number of open issues related to the advising record, allowing for more efficient filtering of records in the Student Success Center timeline.
- A new option in Retention Settings for the Open Advising Item Batch Runner will update the Open Related Issues Count on Advising records, allowing for more efficient filtering of records in the Student Success Center timeline.
TX Forms
Base Version 2511.0
- New action menu options—Edit Draft and View Published— are available to make it easier to navigate between a form’s versions. See Managing TX Forms.
- Hidden fields with URL prefill no longer require default values, so they can be left blank.
- The URL Prefill option is disabled for all fields inside a repeatable section to prevent conflicts or errors when multiple instances of the section are generated.
Resolved Defects
Applicant Dashboard (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2051) Supplemental forms are not accessible to applicants after the deadline. Previously, applicants could still access these forms even after the deadline had passed.
- (CL-2473) The Started On date displays correctly based on the community user’s timezone. Previously, the date displayed one day later when an Application was started at a time that crossed into the next day in UTC, or when an Application record was imported with a specific Created Date.
Application Review (Version 2511.1)
- (CL-2437) Fields with the Picklist (Dropdown) field type on the application review types correctly display their previously saved values in the Application Review Reader. Previously, these saved values did not appear in the Reader.
Base (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2310) The Faculty Early Alerts and Success Scores tiles appear correctly in TargetX Builder when Retention is installed. Previously, an unrelated package prevented the system from verifying the necessary classes.
- (CL-2399) In TargetX Builder, the Back to TargetX CRM button correctly redirects users to the Salesforce Home Page. Previously, it returned an error stating, “The page no longer exists.”
Communication Planner (Version 2511.26)
- (CL-2449) Report counts for Quick Messages populate correctly. Previously, the report count did not display the number of contacts.
- (CL-2503) Adding and saving Image Content to a Sync’d row works correctly. Previously, adding and saving Image Content while editing a Sync Row deleted all other rows in the Email Template, leaving only the edited Sync Row with the image.
Engage (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2315) Using the 'Return to Queue' option no longer changes the order of users in the queue. Previously, selecting this option moved the first student to the last position.
Events (Version 2511.4)
- (CL-2374) When a validation error occurs while scheduling an appointment, the system does not create Organization Event, CSI record, or Salesforce Event records. Previously, these records were still generated despite the error, and the appointment appeared on the Appointment Calendar.
- (CL-2378) Clicking the Register button multiple times on the Events Form registers only a single event. Previously, multiple clicks would register the user multiple times for the same Organization Event, each with identical creation timestamps.
- (CL-2430) When Show Nicknames is enabled in your Digital Experience site, users with a populated Nickname display it correctly. Previously, nicknames did not display regardless of this setting.
Online Application (Version 2511.4)
- (CL-2304) Recommendation attachments can be successfully removed. Previously, uploaded recommendation attachments would not appear to be removed from the online application, even though they were actually deleted from the recommendation attachments stored in Salesforce.
- (CL-2392) The Save & Publish button appears only when an Application Form has been updated. Previously, it was visible even if no changes had been made to the form.
- (CL-2411) The Application Process lookup field from the Application object appears in the visibility condition dropdown when creating or editing visibility conditions on an Application Form. Previously, this field was not available.
- (CL-2473) The Started On date displays correctly based on the community user’s timezone. Previously, the date displayed one day later when an Application was started at a time that crossed into the next day in UTC, or when an Application record was imported with a specific Created Date.
- (CL-2497) Applicants cannot start an application without selecting a Term. Previously, if a Term was selected and then deselected, a console error would appear, but the application could still be started without a deadline.
Permission Scanner (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2429) Permission Sets generated by Permission Scanner can be successfully regenerated even if they are part of a Permission Set Group assigned to users. Previously, regeneration failed under these conditions.
Portal (Base Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2051) Supplemental forms are not accessible to applicants after the deadline. Previously, applicants could still access these forms even after the deadline had passed.
- (CL-2173) Number fields used in criteria or conditions within condition sets display without unnecessary trailing zeros. Previously, these values were automatically converted to decimals with six decimal places.
- (CL-2442) Merge field values containing ampersands display correctly in the Portal. Previously, such merge fields did not render properly.
- (CL-2473) The Started On date displays correctly based on the community user’s timezone. Previously, the date displayed one day later when an Application was started at a time that crossed into the next day in UTC, or when an Application record was imported with a specific Created Date.
Prospect Scorecard (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-1848) When the Prospect Contact Score is updated based on a formula field that, in turn, references another updated field, the Total Score and the Last Updated date are refreshed accordingly. Previously, it only updated in response to changes from specific child objects.
Recruitment Manager (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2253) App Requirements with Label values longer than 80 characters process correctly. Previously, an error occurred when the Checklist Item Name exceeded 80 characters.
- (CL-2453) Salutations using “Ms.” include a space when the Full Name is concatenated. Previously, the “Ms.” salutation did not include a space afterward.
- (CL-2454) The GMAT Integrated Reasoning Score field accepts two digits. Previously, it only accepted a single digit.
Retention (Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2173) Number fields used in criteria or conditions within condition sets display without unnecessary trailing zeros. Previously, these values were automatically converted to decimals with six decimal places.
- (CL-2240) Open Issues for My Students with a count greater than 50 displays properly in the Timeline. Previously, only a few records would load in the Student Success Center, and clicking Load More switches you from My Students to All. A new batch process, Open Advising Item Batch Runner, can be run manually to update the Open Advising count. For details, see Configuring Retention Settings.
- (CL-2310) Institutions with the 'Program Management Module' package can access the 'Faculty Early Alerts' and 'Success Scores' tiles in TargetX Builder. Previously, clients with this package were unable to access these tiles.
- (CL-2349) The SSC dashboard refreshes the list automatically when a task is edited and no longer matches the applied filter. The item count updates correctly as well. Previously, the list did not refresh, leading to an inaccurate item count.
- (CL-2367) Advising picklist values (e.g., Category or Type) that include the percent symbol “%” functions properly in the Student Success Center. You can add Advising records without issue, and no console errors appear. Previously, using a “%” symbol in these fields triggered two console errors and prevented the creation of Advising records.
TX Forms (Base Version 2511.0)
- (CL-2335) Event forms open properly on mobile devices. Previously, Event forms were not displaying properly on mobile devices.
- (CL-2355) Links in TX Forms comply with Title II ADA requirements, resolving a WCAG 1.4.3 contrast failure. Previously, these links did not meet accessibility standards, resulting in a Title II ADA violation.
- (CL-2361) Event Forms where the first question is a picklist with text that wraps to a second line, and subsequent questions are conditionally visible based on the first question’s answer, display all picklist values correctly. Previously, not all values were displayed.
- (CL-2384) You can successfully change a question mapped to a Contact picklist field to an Inquiry picklist field without error. Previously, selecting the Inquiry object would cause the field and question to remain stuck on a loading icon and trigger a console error, particularly when “getObjectFields” for Contact was called on form load.
- (CL-2404) When a question is moved up or down, the selected object or field is retained. Previously, moving a question could cause the selected object or field to be removed.
- (CL-2405) TX Forms made available in a Salesforce Community can be opened, completed, and submitted without error. Previously, these forms would fail to open and displayed a “Form currently not available” message.
- (CL-2412) Values entered for hidden fields that share the same field name but belong to different objects and field types save correctly. Previously, these hidden field values were cleared out.
- (CL-2439) Users can successfully register for an event using a TX Form on a mobile device. Previously, registration on mobile devices was not possible.
