UniCASs Can Exclude Transcript and Verification Requirements for Multiple Colleges

This enhancement must be approved by the UniCAS client for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. UniCAS clients: contact a member of your account team for more information or to enable this feature.

If a UniCAS requires applicants to submit official or unofficial transcripts and/or have their coursework verified, they can also choose to exclude the application transcript and verification requirements for a single university. This is typically done for the UniCAS's university, as they already have the applicant's academic history. With this enhancement, UniCASs can exclude transcript and verification requirements for multiple universities. This is helpful when a UniCAS has several campuses but central transcript processing.

Organization-level Change Fee Rule

This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the current cycle. If activated, this enhancement is available for all participating programs. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact a member of your account team for more information or to enable this feature.

Question rules allow you to define how applicants interact with questions and answer options. The Change Fee rule can now be built at the organization level, meaning that it can be applied to some or all programs under an organization. This enhancement saves you time, as you can configure a Change Fee rule once for an organization instead of multiple times for each program offered.

You can build the Change Fee rule under the Organization Rules section and select which programs you want to apply it for. By default, all programs will be selected, and you can remove any that you don't want the rule to apply to. You can also activate your organization-level rule per program under the program-level Rules Builder page.

Be aware that organization-level Question Rules must be built on Extended Profile or organization-level questions only.

Retroactively Add Registrants to an Event

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact a member of your account team for more information.

Occasionally, invitees may attend events they did not register for (e.g., if they canceled their registration or forgot to register). With this enhancement, registrants can be added to an occurrence of an event after it has passed so they can be properly tracked and communicated with.

Updated Label for Write-in Form Fields

This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact a member of your account team for more information.

When adding multiple-choice questions to forms in Outcomes, you can configure a write-in option that allows responders to type in their own response. With this enhancement, those additional fields are now labeled “Write-in” for those completing the form. This change applies to forms in Outcomes or in the Student Portal, Inquiry Portal, Review Portal, and Reference Portal.
