Version 2312.0

  • By default, GPAs will be shown with a minimum of two decimal places. Any additional decimal places entered will also be accurately reflected in the Student Success Center.

November 2023

  • A new field, Action Item Notes, stores notes entered in the Student Success Center, replacing the Details field.

  • Courses listed in the Student Success Center are grouped by Term and display Overall GPA, Term GPA, Midterm, and Final grade fields.

  • Faculty Early Alerts enables Faculty members to enter early alerts for their Students. The tool provides an easy way for your Faculty members to provide early alerts and kudos from their roster, so advisors can take appropriate action/intervention. For more information, see Faculty Alerts Overview
  • Student Success Center now includes the option to display Cohort-based Success Scores on the Students List.
  • Student Success Center now allows Users to view details on a student’s Cohort-based Success Score in the Student detail pages.

  • Student Success Center updates which allow any success team member to be able to easily view and quickly take action for all students they are associated with, regardless if they are the Primary team member:
    • Uniform view for all Success Team members: My Students shows totals for all students the advisor is associated with as an assigned Success Team Member, regardless of Primary status.
    • Streamlined UI: The tabs for Mine and Related students have been consolidated into a single tab called My Students.
    • Clear indicators for Primary students: Primary students assigned to an advisor are indicated with a check mark by the student’s picture on both Student List and Student Detail pages. Hovering over this indicator includes a tooltip to clarify these are an advisor’s primary students.

  • The Success Scores Cohort List/Edit Page will now display an Insufficient Access message if the user doesn’t have the proper Permissions. Previously the page would not display an error or data.
  • A new setting is available in Retention Settings, in the Advising Roll Up Schedule section, called Batch Size. For additional information, see Retention Settings.
  • New fields have been added to the Placement Test object in order to facilitate importing records:

  • Cohort-based Success Scores allow Administrators to configure scores for selected Cohorts of students based on applicable risk/success factors (Success Score Rules). Once students are scored, Advisors can more easily direct their efforts toward students who need their attention.
    • Success Score Cohorts are groups of students that you want to score differently; these may be based on Class-level (e.g., Freshman, Senior), College, Program, Department, etc. These Cohorts are used by the Success Score Rules to calculate a Student Success Score.
    • Success Score Rules are configurable rules based on Risk Factors. Administrators assign parameters and weights to each rule. These scores are calculated for students based on a Cohort and displayed for Advisors on the Contact record.
    • Each student starts with a Success Score of 100, and points are deducted based on Success Score Rules.
    • Advisors can view a Student’s Success Score on their Contact record.
